This page explains how to delete your etc. account and all associated data. You do not need to open the app to make the request.

How to request deletion

Send an email to the address below from the email address on your etc. account (this is how we verify the request is yours), with the subject line "Delete my account":

We will confirm and permanently delete your account. If you write from a different email than the one on your account, we may ask you to verify ownership before deleting.

What gets deleted

Deletion is permanent and removes all of your data — there is no archive and no soft-delete. This includes:

  • your account and login email;
  • meals, calories and macros;
  • water, sleep and workout logs;
  • body metrics, goals and habits;
  • meal photos and any assistant history;
  • your profile and settings.

Timeframe

We action email requests within 3 business days and complete permanent deletion of your account and data within 30 days of the request. Backups are cycled out on a rolling basis after that. Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered.

Note: deleting your etc. account does not cancel an active subscription. If you subscribed through Whop (direct Android download), cancel it in Whop; if you installed via Google Play or the Apple App Store, cancel in that store's subscription settings. This stops future billing.
